TRA’s chairman receives ITU’s book

Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Amer, the Chairman of the Bahrain's Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) received a book on "Achievements and Way Forward for the Arab Region" written under an initiative of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU). Mr. Brahima Sanou, Director of the ITU Telecommunication Development Bureau presented the book to Dr. Al Amer during the Arab Regional Development Forum hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain which began yesterday. The book discuses most prominent regulatory practices in the Arab world since the establishing of telecommunications regulatory bodies to the present time.
