South Korean FM joins culture event with Japan

South Korean Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se attended a joint culture event with Japan here and met with Tokyo's ambassador to Seoul on Sunday, a move construed as intended to demonstrate the will for improved bilateral ties long strained by history disputes.
Yun's holiday activity is seen as quite unusual, given the current Seoul-Tokyo ties with almost all top-level political and diplomatic exchanges effectively on hold.
