
Reverend Carl Sherbeck, founder of Evangelical Church in the UAE, has paid gratitude to the leadership and government of the UAE for the facilities provided to Christians to perform their religious practices freely and respectfully. He also lauded the religious, cultural and humanitarian harmony that characterises the diverse UAE community. Reverend Sherbeck made his remarks during a meeting with H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, on Thursday night at Zabeel Palace, which discussed a broad range of social and religious issues regarding peaceful co-existence between divine religions. The meeting also discussed ways of promoting inter-faith tolerance and dialogue for the best interest and welfare of the humanity at large.
