
Saudi Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz commended Monday evening the role that King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies was playing to boosting Islamic knowledge and culture. Prince Salman, also Deputy Premier and Defense Minister, was speaking on behalf of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz at a ceremony marking King Faisal Center's 30th anniversary. He said King Faisal Center has become a beacon for culture worldwide since it was named after King Faisal bin Abdulaziz. Prince Salman also opened the center's library which consisted of around 170,000 publications in different languages.
