
Oscar winning actor Russell Crowe met Saturday with Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Omer Celik for his upcoming feature film "The Water Diviner" depicting the story of ANZAC soldiers who fought in the battle of Gallipoli in the First World War in 1915. "We will ask for support for our new feature film. There is a Turkish actor who I wanted to work with. I hope Mr. Minister can help me in this regard" the Australian actor said. Hailing Crowe's projets, Celik indicated the importance of the story of the movie. "We consider it an important project to relate the common story of nations. It has a key issue for both Australia and Turkey's national history," said Celik.
