Only Azhar, Awqaf preachers allowed on mosque pulpits

Only preachers from Al-Azhar or graduates of the Awqaf Ministry's Preachers' Institute will be allowed to take the pulpits in mosques, said Awqaf Ministry undersecretary here Mohamed Nour.`
Speaking to MENA, Nour said preparations have been taken in Alexandria's Al-Qaed Ibrahim Mosque for the holy Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, which starts Sunday, for the Tarawih (special night prayer associated with Ramadan).
