The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York exhibits the "Rain Room" which offers visitors the experience of staying dry under heavy rainfall. Art group Random International's immersive environment Rain Room, a major component of the MoMA exhibition, was opened in New York after London Barbican Centre. The visitors wait for 2 to 4 hours on a line to enjoy that experience. Nearly 600-700 people can visit the exhibition daily, and up to 10 visitors at a time are allowed in the Rain Room. The interactive exhibition offers visitors the experience of walking under heavy rainfall without getting wet in a darkened room. A system stops flow of water when it senses a movement through three-dimensional sensors, thus, visitors stay dry despite heavy rainfall around them. The exhibition will remain open till July 28.
