Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, visits Young ADIPEC at ADIPEC 2013 on Day two day of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition Conference (ADIPEC) at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Organized under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nahyan, and supported by the Abu Dhabi Education Council, Young ADIPEC involves a comprehensive programme designed to address concerns regarding the growing shortfall of young people in the oil and gas industry. Young ADIPEC comprises a series of youth engagement activities taking place up to and beyond ADIPEC 2013 that are set to inspire the younger generation across U.A.E. to pursue careers in the oil and gas industry. It is anticipated to ensure the future success of a sector in which- according to research conducted by the Petroleum Institute- nearly 50% of the current workforce is set to retire in the next 10 years.
