Yangon - XINHUA

Myanmar puppeteers will bring its puppetry back to life by taking part in the world's largest puppet festival in Bangkok of Thailand next month.
The six-member Myanmar puppeteer team will participate in the Harmony World Puppet Carnival 2014 which is scheduled to take place from Nov.1-10.
The festival is said to focus on the exchange of art-related information about various traditional cultures.
More than 100 marionette teams from 66 countries will perform in the festival.
The Myanmar marionette team is scheduled to leave Yangon for Bangkok at the end of this month.
The old traditional marionette generation has almost faded away.
Puppet is the most popular show in Myanmar arts and culture and it usually takes place at pagoda festivals.
