The third annual Muslim Fair in Brussels, which began in Brussels on Friday, would have attracted over 20,000 visitors when it closes its doors tomorrow (Monday), organizers estimated here on Sunday.
Co-organized by the League of Muslims in Belgium and a France-based bookstore called "Gedis", the fair is displaying clothing, books, halal food, jewellery and natural cosmetics. Aid agencies for Syria and Gaza and special organisations offering advice on halal food certification have also set up stalls, the organizers said in a statement.
On the sidelines of the event, visitors can also attend a cultural dialogue to listen to topics such as "Forty years of Islam in Belgium", "Dialogue between Muslims and non-Muslims" and "Family life in Islam" by Muslim and non-Muslim scholars and speakers.
