A monologue made up of questionings and highlighting the obvious pains which are ravaging today’s world was presented Saturday evening to Algiers’ audience by Romanian actress Simona Maicanescu. This play, representing the Belgian participation in the 15th European Cultural Festival of Algiers, is an adaptation of the text of American scriptwriter and actor Wallace Shawn. The 15th European Cultural Festival, organized in Algiers, Oran, Tlemcen, Annaba and Constantine , will be held till May 30 with a rich a musical programme marked by the participation of 17 European countries. The festival will also be marked by the screening of films and plays as well as the organization of jazz and folk concerts.
