Mauritania official urges Egypt to preserve endangered Mauritanian manuscripts

A Mauritanian official has appealed to Egypt to help her country preserve scores of thousands of endangered Mauritanian manuscripts.
Mauritania is full of scores of thousands of endangered manuscripts, said the director of Mauritanian Institute for Scientific Research.
Mauritania needs the Egyptian support to maintain those manuscripts, the official said, praising the Egyptian expertise in this field.
