Luxor - MENA

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab and his accompanying delegation on Sunday inaugurated a project to lighten the Tombs of Ramses VI and Seti I in Luxor's West Bank.

During the visit to the tombs, Mahlab was briefed by Minister of Antiquities Mamdouh el Damaty on the project of lighting the archaeological tombs in Luxor.

Damaty said that the project is funded by a Spanish loan that is dedicated to lighten and secure the archaeological sites in Luxor, pointing out that the project will significantly contribute to luring more tourists.

Earlier in the day, the premier, escorted by a number of ministers, toured a number of projects in the Upper Egyptian city of Luxor.
