Maaytah takes part in cultural meeting in Bahrain

Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications and Minister of Culture Samih Maaytah took part here on Tuesday in a conference of Arab culture ministers. Maaytah, who is also Government Spokesperson, also took part in the meeting of the Permanent Committee of Arab Culture. The conference discussed keeping contacts with global cultures as well as finding a comprehensive vision of the Arab cultural action. Other issues on the agenda of the conference were cultural agreements that cover national schemes. The conference, which concluded today, named Madina in Saudi Arabia as the Capital of Islamic Culture for 2013.
