
Kuwaiti Journalist and author Amal Al-Randi participated in a children's workshop of the 33rd edition of Sharjah International Book Fair, set to conclude November 15.
Al-Randi told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Sunday that she intends to allow children through a workshop entitled (I write my story), to learn and get acquainted with the art of writing a story and enhancing it as well as their imagination.
On her impression on the current edition of the book fair, she pointed out that "what distinguishes the exhibition this year is the rich and intense cultural events, which amounts to 780 activities", in addition to hosting important figures such as the renowned American author Dan Brown and Famous Egyptian Actor Adel Imam besides many others.
Meanwhile, Al-Randi expressed her happiness for being honored by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah during the opening ceremony of the National Library of Kuwait.
The author said she had recently finished a new series of children's stories, to teach them about their right to learn and have a home, the abilities of children with special needs, and how to be merciful in dealing with birds.
