A Kazakhstan cultural exchange will be held in China in November, said the Kazakhstan Ambassador to China Nurlan Ermekbaev on Friday. The cultural activities, to start on Nov. 5, will be the largest cultural exchange between the two countries since they established diplomatic relations, said Ermekbaev, expressing his hopes for attracting more Chinese people to know about Kazakhstan culture. Ermekbaev introduced that more than 180 Kazakhstan artists will perform music, sing and dance in Beijing, Shanghai and Urumqi, and over 400 works of art, some of which date back to the fifth century BC, will be on exhibition in the National Museum of China. Ermekbaev said that the state visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping in September has greatly improved bilateral relations, and the building of a "Silk Road economic belt" proposed by Xi has received positive support from Kazakhstan and other countries.
