
An exhibition by international calligrapher Sabah Al Erbili will open on Saturday evening as part of Katara Ramadan Festival. On display at the exhibition, will be the works of artist Sabah who has been making art works since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan directly before the public and visitors of Katara. The works include letters and drawings that reflect the history of Arabic calligraphy, in addition to the theme of the month of Ramadan which he included in his paintings to convey the lofty meanings of Ramadan. On the other hand, a big activity will be held at the Opera Hall in Qatar including a religious lecture by Sheikh Mohamed Al Arifi and poetry evening by Kuwaiti poet Ahmed Al-Kandari and Syrian poet Mohamed Najib Al Murad Katara Ramadan Festival aims to promote the spirit of the holy month, through reflecting the depth and richness of the Islamic civilization. The festival multiple activities also reflect the concepts of the holy month of Ramadan and its effects on social life in Qatar and the Arab world in general.
