Minister of Culture Salah Jarrar on Wednesday discussed with his Bahraini counterpart Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa means of boosting cultural cooperation between the two countries especially with regard to the celebration of Manama, as the capital of Arab culture 2012. During the meeting, Jarrar stressed the importance of benefiting from expertise between the two countries, calling for enhancing bilateral cooperation in cultural, tourism, documentation and intellectual property domains. He also briefed the guest on the ministry’s projects implemented throughout the Kingdom. The Bahrain minister reviewed the Manama’s expertise in terms of cultural exchange with Arab states, adding that Bahrain is witnessing a cultural season manifested by holding cultural weeks for Arab countries and festivals for youth and children.
