The Israeli occupation authorities on Wednesday sent a notification to the head custodian in the Ibrahimi Mosque, Hijazi Abu Sneineh, to close the mosque in the West Bank city of Hebron to Muslim worshipers next Sunday and Monday.
Palestinian sources said that Israeli authorities will allow Jewish settlers to violate the sanctity of the mosque during those two days in order to celebrate the so-called "Feast of Booths" holidays.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers on Wednesday arrested 6 Palestinians in the West Bank, according to Palestinian sources.
The sources reported that Israeli troops stormed the West Bank cities of Bethlehem, Jenin and Hebron and arrested the citizens.
Israeli occupation forces launch almost daily search-and-arrest raids in which dozens of citizens and activists are rounded up.
