Bigdeli said that expansion of media relations between Iran and Turkey would serve to develop economic cooperation and political common grounds. The Iranian ambassador to Turkey underlined the significant role of media in broadening mutual cooperation between Tehran and Ankara. Anadolu news agency's managing director, for his part underlined that ties between Iran and Turkey are very deep-rooted dating back to centuries ago. "Because the Islamic Republic of Iran is one of the most important countries of the region, Turkey follows up the country's developments and events closely," he said.
