Egypt invited India to take part in the 24th conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs to be held in Cairo next month.
Egyptian Ambassador in New Delhi Hatem Tag el Din handed over the invitation to Minority Affairs Minister Najma Heptullah.
The two-day conference will kick off on February and will tackle ways to improve the image of Islam.
