Egypt’s Fine Arts Society will host an evening devoted to the memory of late writer Ibrahim Aslan, beginning at 7pm on Wednesday, 18 January. Aslan’s son, Hesham, will take part in the event, along with a number of other prominent literary figures including novelist Saied El-Kafrawy; Abla Rowainy, chief editor of Akhbar Al-Adab newspaper; and literary critics Shaaban Youssef and Mohammed Badawy.
