India and Bahrain evinced keen interest in pursuing and enhancing the cultural relations that exist between the two countries, said the Ambassador of India to Bahrain Mohan Kumar. The ambassador told the Bahrain News Agency that his meeting with the Minister for Culture Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, was very fruitful. “There is a Rajasthani dance troupe and a Bollywood dance troupe touring Bahrain on April 13. She was informed of the visit of this group and the various other cultural shows that the Indian community in Bahrain will be conducting,” said the ambassador. She showed keen interest in the cultural heritage of India, he added. The cultural richness of both Bahrain and India have been on display for a while now, “but we seek to enhance and enrich that relation to higher levels,” he said.
