Minister of Antiquities Mohamed Ibrahim hailed distinguished relations between Egypt and the Czech Republic in the area of archaeology. Egypt and Czech enjoy cooperation in making excavations and developing archaeological sites. Speaking at a meeting with Pavel Kafka, the Czech Ambassador to Egypt, and Czech Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Thomas Dub Tuesday, Ibrahim said the fruit of cooperation with the Czech Republic can be seen in the project aimed at developing the Abu Seir archeological site in Giza governorate. On his part, Kafka said talks with the Egyptian official are part of coordination with the Egyptian government to foster archeological cooperation between the two countries.
