Antiquities Minister Mamdouh el-Damati and Georgian Ambassador to Egypt Archil Dzuliashvili witnessed on Sunday the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between Egyptian museums and Georgian national museum to implement a number of joint projects.
The projects include organizing exhibitions and managing research projects and educational programs between the two countries.
After the signing ceremony, Damati said the memo comes within the ministry's efforts to boost bilateral relations with a number of countries in order to develop archaeological work.
He added that UNESCO and all other organizations concerned are supporting the memo and projects to be funded by it.
