
Egypt's Tourism Ministry has participated in the fourth meeting of the Working Group on the Silk Road of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), held in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The main theme of the working group’s meeting was increasing the tourist profile of the Silk Road, as well as provision of sustainable and responsible tourism through cooperation, the ministry said.
The event offered airports, airlines, tourism authorities and other stakeholders a platform to network, do business and improve air transport networks.
The Silk Road development forum aimed at connecting the Commonwealth of Independent States countries with the regions of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia.
