
The Dubai Culture & Arts Authority is hosting its annual ‘Youth Summer Programme' at the Heritage Village in conjunction with Dubai Police. To be held until September 2, the programme will feature arts and crafts workshops, calligraphy writing, cultural awareness programme and other specialised activities for boys and girls. During the programme, young boys can learn how to make coffee, pottery, and revel in educational competitions such as fishing; while girls can learn to make lace and traditional accessories to match the UAE national attire. The ‘Youth Summer Programme' will also encompass of field trips for the children on the Roads & Transport Authority's (RTA) Wonder Bus, as well as to key heritage sites including the Diving Village, Bait Juma, Bait Obaid Al Thani House and Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum House.
