
Darul-Iftaa has set an integrated plan in preparation for the holy fasting month of Ramadan, Mufti's Adviser Ibrahim Negm said on Sunday.
In press statements, Negm said a religious ceremony will be held on Tuesday to sight the crescent of Ramadan in the presence of Cairo Governor Galal el Saeed and Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb.
He further announced the launching of several services for better communication with citizens in Ramadan, including the activation of a hotline to answer inquiries of callers in 10 languages.
"A Facebook page was created to give advice to Muslims on all affairs related to Ramadan," he said, adding that Mufti Shawqi Allam will introduce a daily radio program in Ramadan about virtues of this holy month.
