
The celebration of the commemoration of Operation Dragoon will be held Friday in Toulon (France) in the presence of an Algerian delegation led by Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal, as a representative of President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
“The President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, appointed Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal to represent him in the ceremony commemorating the 70th anniversary of Operation Dragoon, which is scheduled for Friday 17 August in Toulon (France),” announced the Prime minister services in a communiqué.
Representatives of 29 countries were invited by French President Francois Holland to a ceremony that will be organized on the Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier, a building of the French navy, anchored off Toulon, said medias.
According to the same sources, fifteen heads of state of African and Maghreb government will be present in these commemorative celebrations.
