Visitors coming to Australia's Sydney will be able to enjoy a festive sound and light show on two sides of Sydney Town Hall from Nov. 28 to Dec. 25 as part of this- year Christmas celebrations. "Christmas in the city will be brighter than ever as Sydney Town Hall hosts a vibrant digital light show," Clover Moore, the mayor of Sydney, said at Martin Place. From 8:30 pm on Thursday night, the George Street facade of Sydney Town Hall will be lit up with large light projections depicting the spirit of Christmas. Meanwhile, a digital animation and soundscape of Santa's journey and Christmas Day celebration will be projected onto the southern side of the heritage-listed building. Both works have been created by internationally acclaimed projectionists, The Electric Canvas. "Whether you're celebrating in the city after work, or visiting our department stores and boutiques to take care of your Christmas shopping, I encourage you to visit Town Hall," the mayor said. Other events including different kinds of concerts and shopping activities will help liven up the Christmas season.
