Bahraini culture minister receives Kuwaiti ambassador

Culture Minister Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa has today received Kuwait Ambassador, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Shaikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah. The Kuwaiti envoy hailed the efforts of the ministry to line up the "Year of Art", which marks the 40th anniversary of the first fine art expo in Bahrain, in addition to festivities celebrating Manama, Capital of Asian Tourism-2014.
The minister underscored the importance of expanding joint cooperation and exchanging cultural and tourism expertise, adding that Bahrain is pleased to welcome the Journey of Hope vessel for people with mental disability, due to dock at the Kingdom's ports.
