Bahraini culture minister receives Chinese ambassador

Culture Minister Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa received today Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain Li Chen and discussed with him bilateral cultural relations and future projects.
She underscored the importance of cooperation between Bahrain and China, especially with the latter's active presence in cultural and tourism functions hosted by Bahrain. She also spotlighted ways of promoting cultural and tourism activities in Bahrain this year with Manama being chosen as "Capital of Asian Tourism 2014".
The Chinese ambassador praised cultural activities in Bahrain, commending the Culture Ministry's constant efforts to promote cultural exchange especially with the Asian countries.
