
Under the patronage of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al-Khalifa, the 26th GCC Quran and Hadith Grand Contest opened at the Isa Cultural Centre – Al-Fateh Mosque The competition, which is organized by the General Organisation for Youth and Sport (GOYS), has brought together seventy contestants from different age categories. Final results are scheduled to be announced tomorrow. Organizing Committee chairman Hisham Boukammas said that the contest was proceeding according to plans, stressing the importance of the cultural event in encouraging the GCC youngsters to learn the Holy Quran. He paid tribute to the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments for contributing to the organization of the GCC event and commended officials in charge of the Isa Cultural Centre for hosting the contest. The final contests will be aired live under the Under the patronage of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al-Khalifa and GOYS President Hisham Mohammed Al-Jowder.
