Awqaf ministry to host intellectual dialogue in Egypt

Awqaf (Endowments) Minister Mohamed Gomaa said on Friday that the ministry would host an intellectual dialogue to discuss means of combating Takfiribideology.
The dialogue would also take up threatens imposed by atheism, Bahá'í faith and deviant ideas on community, the minister said in a statement.
The minister warned against violations and insults that may be directed to Al Azhar or its Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed El Tayyeb.
Violations would be addressed with firm action, the minister said.
