Antiquities expert Abdel-Rehim Rihan called Saturday for using Egypt's antiquities exhibitions abroad to promote tourism.
"It is important to draw up a plan, which includes several lectures in foreign museums, which host Egypt antiquities exhibition," he said.
The role of the delegation assigned to oversee the artifacts should not be confined only to this, but to include giving general idea about Egypt's antiquities," he added.
Rihan made the remarks after the approval of the Antiquities Ministry for Japan to host "Tutankhamun and the Golden Age" exhibition for a year.
The exhibition showcases 124 artifacts and is expected to achieve revenues worth 12 million dollars.
