According to Zoomal, a crowd-funding platform, its new initiative, called the Must See Film Challenge, addresses "the vibrant independent film makers community in the Arab region and gives an opportunity for every aspiring film maker to get noticed by the crowd."
The Challenge seeks untold stories and unspoken voices from horrors to documentaries to adventures to comedies, from a YouTube series to anime.
Zoomal reveals that The Must See Film Challenge is an opportunity for every aspiring film maker to benefit from immediate exposure from movie buffs and industry professionals.
All Arab filmmakers are encouraged to submit their movie projects as long as they do not exceed a maximum budget of $25,000. The submitted films will then have a chance to receive up to $20,000 in matched funding, topped up with unlimited acknowledgements and a promising career.
