
Algeria will participate as a guest of honor at the International Handicrafts Fair of Lisbon (Portugal) scheduled from 28 June to 6 July, said Thursday a statement from the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts.
Algeria is represented in this show which is one of the most important cultural events in Portugal, by the National Agency for Handicrafts (ANART), artisans representing 35 different specialties and exhibitions "highlighting the rich national heritage and diversity of Algerian handmade product."
The International Handicrafts Fair of Lisbon also an opportunity to "promote the destination Algeria in the Portuguese tourism market and make known the riches that contains the Algerian market in the tourism and craft areas."
Minister of Tourism and Handicraft, Nouria Yamina Zerhouni is expected to pay a 4 day working visit (June 27 to 30) to Portugal.
