
The 24th International Book Fair of Abu Dhabi opened Wednesday at the national exhibition centre of United Arab Emirates' capital, with the participation of Algerian men of letters and Publishers. The visitors will have the opportunity to discover Algerian publications in various fields and in different languages, through 30 Algerian publishing houses taking part in the event. The participating companies include the National Company for Graphic Arts (ENAG), the National Agency for Publishing and Advertisement (ANEP), as well as the publishing houses Dar Chihab , Dar El-Houda, El Ouma and Dar Houma. Algeria will be represented at the 24th edition, which will celebrate Swiss literature and the great poet El Moutanabi (10th century), by Algerian academic and former minister Mustapha Cherif, young poet Louai Khaled and novelist Dihya Louise. Seventy famous novelists, poets, writers, academics, visual artists and cartoonists, 26 of whom from Sweden, are to take part in the literary event.
