Al Qasba has been a hive of activity these past few days with crowds of people flocking to Sharjah's premier leisure destination to be wowed by the fabulous Al Qasba Street Fiesta 2013. The Fiesta, which started on 19th of this month and is set to run until the 30th of December, is a celebration of the very best in street art performance from across the world and visitors have had plenty of spectacular entertainment and fun to choose from. Al Qasba's walkways have been thronging with visitors of all ages being amazed by varied performances that include the Australian comic daredevil Ernest the Magnifico's side-splitting antics, the astonishing acrobatics of Great Cate, as well as hypnotic rhythms of South Africa's Marimba Vibrations. Al Qasba has also made sure that the young lot is kept very busy with a fun and fantastic range of activities to choose from at the Kids Circus Workshop, including rolla bola, walking globe, tightwire, diabolo, juggling, face painting, and balloon cart. Visitors can look forward to watching the balloon inspired clowning of Italy's Otto il Bassotto and London based Shandy South's slick fusion of improvisational stand up, mime, and street dance. The beautiful works of graffiti created live between the hours of 6 and 10 from the 26th until the 28th of December will entertain visitors of all ages next to Etisalat-Eye of Emirates. Al Qasba prides itself on giving its visitors the opportunity to enjoy culture, entertainment and leisure attractions representing the very best from the Arab world and beyond, as well as being an outstanding family destination with a range of activities that caters to people of all ages.
