
A rich programme has been developed Ahmed Zabana museum in Oran (432-km west of Algiers) for the celebration of the Heritage Month (April 19 – May 19), according to a source from the museum. The programme includes exhibitions, reports and lectures by national experts. A show selling publications of Algerian museums is due to be held at Zabana Museum, from April 27 to May 15, in collaboration with the Palace Rais' Arts and Culture Centre, the museums of Fine Arts, Popular Arts and Customs, Bardo, Antiquities of Algiers and Medea's Museum of Popular Arts and Customs. Lectures on how to preserve works in museums are also to be organized,, including "Textiles Preservation and Restoration," "Preservation of Copper" and "Presentation of a Collection of Powder Horn."
