The Oil Minister, Engineer Makawi Mohamed Awad, has welcomed the advanced technology being implemented in the country by the private Germany-Qatari Advanced Systems Company, affirming to the need for modern technology in oil sector to increase the oil production.
The minister pledged during his meeting Sunday at his office with the company's delegation, led by the chairman of the company's board of directors, Sheikh Mohamed bin Hmad Al-Thani, to provide the necessary cooperation to the investors, lauding Qatar role in solvin Sudan issues.
On his part, the chairman of the board of directors assured success of the new technology which is expected to increase the oil production, appreciating the great cooperation they received from the Oil Ministry.
