Sonatrach: Nearly $38 bln of hydrocarbon receipts

Group Sonatrach exported for $37.7 billion of hydrocarbons during the first half of 2012, CEO of the Group Abdelhamid Zerguine announced Wednesday. Similarly, the Group global production reached 102 million of tons oil equivalent (TOE) by mid-June, including 57 million TOEs exported, Zerguine told a news conference. Furthermore, the revenues of oil tax paid to the Treasury during the six first months of2012 are DZD2, 230bn (more than $30 billion), according to the report outlined by Zerguine. Sonatrach carried out 15 discoveries at its own during the same period, the same official said.
