OPEC oil price drops 58 cents to $73.70 per barrel

OPEC daily basket price dropped by 58 cents to stand at USD 73.70 a barrel on Wednesday, compared with USD 74.28 the previous day, said the OPEC bulletin on Thursday.
The OPEC basket of crudes is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
