OPEC oil price down 8 cents to $114.36

Price of OPEC basket of twelve crudes was down eight cents on Monday to USD 114.36 a barrel, compared to USD 114.44 the previous day, OPEC said Tuesday. The new OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela). The OPEC reports indicate average basket price for January had reached USD 109.28 compared to December's USD 106.55 per barrel
