OPEC basket price by $1.7 to $104.41 per barrel

OPEC daily basket price stood at USD 104.41 a barrel on Friday, compared with USD 103.34 the previous day, the cartel said here on Monday. The monthly rate of the OPEC baslet price comes as follows: December 2013 USD 107.67, January 2014 USD 104.71 Mth-to-Date Avg. February 2014 103.10, it said. The new OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venez).
