Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said on Wednesday that the price of Kuwait's crude oil slipped USD 0.01 in Wednesday's trading to settle at USD 108.84 per barrel (pb) compared to USD 108.85 the day before. The West Texas Intermediate prices remained unchanged after it rose 0.6 percent yesterday (Tuesday) due to data from the US Department of Commerce which showed an increase in commodities' demand during the month of December. Meanwhile, the New York Mercantile Exchange, light sweet crude for delivery in March rose USD 0.28 to settle at USD 96.72 per barrel at closing; in addition, the North Sea Brent crude oil futures prices for March delivery also went up USD 0.10 to settle at USD 113.58 per barrel.
