Kuwait oil price drops to $108.26

Price of the Kuwaiti crude oil went down 11 cents to USD 108.26 per barrel on Wednesday compared to USD 108.37 pb a day earlier, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said in a statement Thursday. The slight drop of Kuwaiti crude oil price comes amid fluctuation of oil prices in the global markets, the KPC said. It noted that the price of American crude oil for March delivery plummeted by USD 1.45 to USD 95.23 pb in trading New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), and the price of Brent crude for March delivery rose by 38 cents to USD 112.80 pb.
