Algerian company to resume Libya oil operations

Algerian state-run oil producer Sonatrach Group plans to resume operations in Libya next week, El Khabar reported, citing an unidentified official in Algeria’s energy industry. The Algerian Energy Ministry is allowing Sonatrach to start exploring again at oil fields in Libya’s Ghadames Basin after the company received guarantees for the safety of its sites and wells there, the newspaper reported today.
