World Bank transfers $77m to Palestinian Authority

The World Bank (WB) said it had transferred $ 77 million to the Palestinian Authority to support its budget.
The money came from the Palestinian Reform and Development Plan Trust Fund which was a multi-donor mechanism run by the WB.
The funds were introduced by Norway, Australia, Japan, Kuwait, UK. They were planned to meet the urgent needs for the Palestinian budget.
