US dollar hits EGP 19 at NBE, CBE

The US dollar exchange rate at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and the Commercial International Bank (CIB) rose to 19 pounds, registering its highest level since the flotation of the Egyptian pound on November 3.
The rate at the two banks on Monday recorded between EGP 19.2 and EGP 19.25 for selling.
